So the recipe I'm copying did not say certain things like oven heat or how long to cook it for so this part's going to be a little dicey. I would say follow the directions for whatever dough you are going to use so if you're using puff pastry use the directions for that if you're using croissants use the directions for that
Preheat your oven-Make sure the oven is empty, I know I'm not the only one who uses it as a dish dryer
Chop your three jalapenos into small pieces, use gloves or wash your hands directly afterwards, (lemon juice or hand sanitizer is great for getting that capsaicin off your hands)scratching yourself in delicate areas with jalapeno hands is not advised
Mix your chopped jalapenos, cream cheese, bacon bits, cheddar of your choice together until thoroughly mixed.
Spread your dough of choice out, and spread one layer of it with your mixture and then place the other layer of dough on top.
Using a pizza slicer or a knife slice your dough into half inch lines-for those of you who can't measure with your eyes about a finger thick.
I would put some parchment paper or a silpat on your cookie sheet to make cleaning up easier.
Pick up one of your lines of delicious filled in dough, one hand on each end, and twist it in the opposite directions until it's spiraled all the way down and place on your cookie sheet.
If you want crunchier then here is where you will scramble an egg in a small dish and put egg wash over all of your twisties and then sprinkle with your remaining cheese and then bake
If you want softer less crunchy delicious things, mix some of your butter of choice with your garlic of choice together and paint your delicious twisties with that, cover with cheddar and then bake.
If you're going to use your air fryer do not do the last step of covering with cheddar cuz it's just going to fly all over the place. Enjoy
