Papa's Grilled Chicken With A Twist
  1. Wash and pat dry your chicken. Cut into pieces and set aside.

  2. In a small saucepan, melt together 1 stick of butter and ½ cup of margarine. Add ½ cup of Worcestershire sauce, ½ cup A-1 sauce, ½ tsp garlic powder, 1 smashed clove fresh garlic, and 1 chipotle pepper to the butter mixture.

  3. Bring this mixture to a boil. Quickly reduce to a simmer for about 15 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.

  4. Set your grill to medium heat.

  5. Put the chicken pieces on the grill skin side up and baste the chicken with the sauce. Close the lid to the grill keeping the temp between 350-375 degrees.

  6. Flip the chicken every 15-20 minutes and basting it every time you flip it. Baste the chicken with the sauce from begging to end of cooking time, rotating & flipping chicken pieces every few beers you drink. Your chicken should take about 45 minutes to 1 hour to cook or until the thickest part reaches 165 degrees.

  7. Let the chicken rest 10 minutes before cutting it. Be safe, eat well, have fun!
