Add the butter and marshmallows to a large pot.
Melt the butter and marshmallows on low temp until it's all melty and gooey.
Add the red velvet cake mix and stir together until well combined and smooth.
Turn off the heat and pour in the rice krispies cereal and mix until all the cereal is coated in the marshmallow mixture.
You'll have to work quickly now to put the raw meat rice krispie mixture into the meat trays.
Use a large spoon to spoon the rice crispy raw meat mixture into the tray and then form it into the shape you want with your hands. You can make it into a mound or patties.
Once you've shaped it how you like, you can add gummy worms or other creepy candy to it. I added some small plastic spiders to mine that weren't edible. If you do that, make sure your friends and family know they're not to be eaten.
You can also mix red food coloring into honey or maple syrup to make a bloody look and drizzle it around your meat tray. Be careful not to get too much on the actual raw meat rice krispies or they could get soggy. Try to keep it around the raw meat on the tray mostly.
Shrink wrap or plastic wrap the meat trays and add your rice krispie raw meat labels. If you have trouble getting your plastic wrap pulled tightly, you can use some tape on the bottom of your tray to hold it in place once you've pulled it tight.
