Ingredients
For the Butter Pecan Cake:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cups powdered sugar

1-2 tablespoons milk (to achieve desired consistency)
Directions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Toast the Pecans:
In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the chopped pecans for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until they are golden and fragrant. Set aside to cool.
Make the Cake Batter:
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla and butter extracts.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
