Season chicken thighs with garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, brown sugar bourbon seasoning and salt.
Add olive oil and butter in a pan and cook chicken thighs on medium to high heat until cooked through.
Take off the heat and cut up chicken into small pieces and set aside.
Next in the same pan add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, apple juice, brown sugar, rice vinegar, ketchup, garlic, and ginger.
Cook until bubbly on medium heat.
Next add in water with cornstarch mixture.
Mix until thickened.
Add chicken back into the mixture - mix well.
Cover and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes on medium heat.
Remove from heat and serve!!!
