Dave’s Style Hot Chicken At Home
  1. Marinate 1 boneless skinless chicken thigh for 2 hours (up to overnight).

  2. Mix 2–4 tbsp marinade into flour for craggly bits.

  3. Double Dredge: Marinade → flour → marinade → flour (press hard).

  4. Fry at 350°F in neutral oil for 6–8 min until golden brown & 165°F internal.

  5. Brush hot chicken with Dave’s Nashville-style Hot Oil.

  6. Mix Dave’s Sauce ingredients until combined.

  7. Mix Kale Slaw ingredients together.

  8. Build Sandwich: Toasted potato bun → sauce → pickles → hot chicken → more sauce → slaw → top bun.
