  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cut bacon into strips & fry with onion over medium heat in a skillet. The goal is not crispy bacon here, but you do want the onion cooked down.

  3. While cooking bacon combine the brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper in a 9x9 baking dish. Once mixed, stir in drained beans.

  4. Strain fat from bacon & onions and mix into beans.

  5. Bake for 1-2 hours depending on how thick you want the sauce. Will finish a lighter color.

Note : 1 individual yellow mustard packet per can of beans is perfect
