Slow cooker pulled pork Chile Verde and sweet potatoes

Instructions:

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the pork shoulder and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add the onion, garlic, jalapeños, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the crushed green chiles, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Add the sweet potatoes and water.

Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker.

Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender and the sweet potatoes are cooked through.

Stir in the cilantro and serve hot.
