Kartoffel-gurkensalat (german Potato Cucumber Salad)
  1. Boil the potatoes until fork tender.

  2. Slice while still warm.

  3. Thinly slice the cucumber and onions.

  4. Warm the broth with vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper.

  5. Pour over the warm potatoes and let soak.

  6. Add cucumber, onions and herbs.

  7. Mix gently and let rest before serving.
