In a stand mixer bowl, combine all the ingredients and knead the dough for about 8 minutes. If you're kneading by hand, it will take around 10 minutes to achieve a soft dough.
The dough should be soft, smooth, and not sticky. Place it in a lightly greased bowl and let it proof for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
In colder months, you can place the bowl near a stove with a low flame, while in warmer months, keep it in a cool area outside the kitchen to prevent over-proofing.
Once the dough has risen, divide it into 15 pieces, each weighing about 60 grams. You can estimate the weight or use a scale for accuracy.
Arrange the pieces in a lightly greased 9x13 inch oven-proof pan, whether ceramic or aluminum. Cover the pan and let the dough rise for an additional 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
After the second rise, place the puffed slider buns in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Once baked, brush some melted butter over the warm buns and cover them to cool slightly.
Enjoy these delicious, soft, and airy buns warm with a spread of salted butter.
