Miso Pasta With Superfood Bacon And Garlicky Peas
  1. Preheat your oven to 200c, fan setting. Cut your superfood block into cubes, then add to a mixing bowl with the tamari, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, maple and pinch of salt. Toss well to combine, then sprinkle the cornstarch and gently fold through. Add to a baking tray and bake for 15-17 minutes on the top rack (check at 10 mins to ensure it doesn't burn), you want it golden and crispy!

  2. Cook your pasta for one minute less than the instructions suggest, reserving some pasta water. Fry the garlic in extra virgin olive oil for one minute on a low heat, then add the frozen peas and cooked pasta. Mix the pasta water with the miso, using a small or flat whisk, then pour over the pasta. Add the nooch, and gently stir to emulsify everything. Top with the superfood bacon, divide into bowls, and top with black pepper, more extra virgin olive oil, and chilli flakes, if you like.
