Sandwich Bread
  1. Add 300 ml of warm milk and 80 ml of warm water into a bowl, 8 g of yeast, and 30 g of brown sugar.

  2. Leave it alone and let it bloom for 5 to 10 minutes.

  3. Add 530 g of bread flour, 10 g of salt, and 80 g of softened butter.

  4. Mix in a mixer for about 7 minutes.

  5. Sprinkle down some flour on your work surface and get all of the dough out.

  6. Hand knead the dough by folding it over itself and pushing and pulling.

  7. Put a little bit of olive oil in a bowl, place the dough in, and cover with a shower cap.

  8. Leave this in a warm place to double in size for about an hour.

  9. Punch the dough down and scrape it out onto a clean counter.

  10. Degas the loaf and roll it out into the most even rectangle possible.

  11. Press out any bubbles.

  12. Roll it up into a log.

  13. Place the log in a loaf pan.

  14. Let it rise for a second time.

  15. Put it in the oven.

  16. Bake for 45 minutes in a 375° oven.
