Stir in the melted butter, letting it blend seamlessly into the mashed bananas.
Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
Add in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until everything is well combined.
Gently fold in the all-purpose flour, being careful not to overmix.
Grease a 4×8-inch loaf pan and pour the batter into the pan.
Bake in your preheated oven for 60-65 minutes.
Remove the loaf from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
