Fig Leaf Syrup
  1. Toast the leaves in a dry skillet until fragrant (30–60 seconds per side)

  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat, stirring until dissolved

  3. Add leaves and simmer gently for 10–15 minutes

  4. Turn off heat and steep for 30–60 minutes

  5. Strain into a jar or bottle

  6. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
