Dish Name: Simple Olive Oil Bread
Serving Size: 1 loaf (about 8 mini-rolls)
Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
Add olive oil and warm water to the dry ingredients.
Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
Punch down the risen dough, split it into 8 pieces, shape them into rolls, and place them in a cake tin so they're touching.
Place the loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped on the bottom.
Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing.
