Lemon Sorbet
  1. Prepare ice cream machine according to the instruction manual for your specific machine.

  2. Heat water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

  3. Let cool, then refrigerate until cold.

  4. Add all ingredients (including the sugar water) to the ice cream maker.

  5. Churn for 15 minutes until it looks slushy.

  6. Either serve the frozen lemonade in glasses now, or transfer to a container and freeze for an hour.

  7. Stir the now-thicker sorbet.

  8. If it is still slushy, let it chill in the freezer for an additional half hour, then stir again.

  9. Repeat until it has a sorbet texture.

  10. Serve with an ice cream scoop.
