Ingredients
for the custard
Preheat the oven to 425
Mix all custard ingredients in a bowl
Place pie crust in tart pan and fill with sliced pears
Pour custard over the pears
Bake 10 minutes at 425, then turn oven down to 325 and bake another 35-45 minutes, until custard is just slightly wobbly in center and crust is lightly golden. If crust is getting too dark, cover edges with foil part way through baking. Let cool completely, before serving, at least 2 hours.
