In a small saucepan on low heat, whisk together the cup of milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until thoroughly combined
Add the chopped chocolate to the saucepan
In a separate bowl, whisk together the half cup of cold milk and cornstarch until smooth
Add the cornstarch slurry to the hot chocolate mixture
Mix on low-medium heat for 3-5 minutes or until thickened and coats the back of a spoon
Pour into mugs of choice
Top with whipped cream and more chocolate
Serve immediately and enjoy
