Cast Iron Steak
  1. Season both sides of room temperature steak with salt and pepper

  2. Pour olive oil in cast iron pan, enough to coat the bottom, and heat pan on medium-high heat

  3. Add in steak and cook for 5 minutes on each side (don’t forget the sides of the steak)

  4. Take off heat and add butter & herbs of choice to the pan to baste the steak (continually spooning butter on steak for 1 minute)
