In a bowl, combine honey, yellow miso paste, ginger, mirin, sesame oil, cooking sake, soy sauce, garlic, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
Pat dry your salmon fillet (this is optional).
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
Lay the salmon fillet into the basket, skin side down.
Brush the glaze over the top of the salmon until well coated. If you have time, marinate the salmon in the glaze for 30 minutes for maximum flavor.
Air fry the salmon at 400 degrees for 10-11 minutes. No flipping is needed.
Remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve.
