In a large pot bring 6-8 cups of water to a boil.
While waiting on water to boil, fry up the beef and pork. Salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. When it is almost cooked, throw in the mushrooms and let them cook down nicely.
Pour the frozen tortellini into the boiling water and bring back to boil and cook 3 minutes
Once the mushrooms look good, toss in the spinach and let it cook down a bit. Not too long as you don’t want to lose color. Now pour in the sauce and let it get hot.
When the tortellini is done, strain it and if the sauce isn’t ready yet, spray a bit of olive oil to keep from sticking together. Stir it into the sauce mixture.
Serve with grated Parmesan cheese
Pairs nicely with steamed zucchini squash
