Vegan Apple Crisp
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13 casserole dish.

  2. Peel, core, and chop apples into small pieces, then place in a large bowl.

  3. In a medium bowl, whisk melted vegan butter and flour, then add water, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour over apples, stir, and spread in dish.

  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, sugar, oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Work in vegan butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.

  5. Bake 45 minutes until golden and bubbling on the edges.

  6. Serve warm with dairy-free ice cream or caramel.
