Take a bowl and add the warm water. Add salt and stir to dissolve the salt
Then add half of the flour and stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until you get a batter like consistency before you add the remaining flour
Knead the dough by hand until you get an elastic non sticky dough. Shape into a ball and cover the bowl with a plate or cutting board. Let the dough rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
Knead the dough one more time before you divide it into equal pieces. Shape into small balls and cover them with a clean kitchen towel to prevent them from drying
Melt the butter in the microwave or use the stove. Take a dough ball and roll it using a rolling pin. Roll it as thin as possible and then brush with butter
Take the edge of the brushed tortilla and start rolling it up into a long roll. Then roll it up like a cinnamon roll and set aside under the kitchen towel. Repeat for the remaining dough balls
Take a rolled up dough ball and roll it out to about 15 cm/6 inches
Heat a skillet to medium heat and add a butter tortilla. Turn every 15 to 20 seconds until golden brown
Take out of the pan and set it side cover it with a clean kitchen towel and repeat for the remaining dough balls
Serve immediately
