Butter Tart Pie
  1. Beat eggs lightly.

  2. Stir in sugar, syrup, butter, flour, vanilla and salt. Add currants (raisins).

  3. Pour into unbaked pie shell.

  4. Bake in 400F. oven for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 350F. & continue baking for about 35 minutes or until centre is just firm to touch.

  5. Cool completely before cutting.
