Soak chickpeas in hot water for 1 hour to soften (optional, or pressure cook 5 minutes longer if skipped)
Remove stems from greens and thinly slice
Dice onion and mince garlic, ginger, and green chilis
Heat oil in pot or Instant Pot
Add onion, garlic, ginger, and green chilis, sauté until fragrant
Add cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, and chili powder
Add diced tomatoes and chickpeas
Add sliced greens and stir to combine
Cook until greens are tender and flavors are combined
Season with salt to taste
