Scotch Pancakes
  1. Add the vinegar to milk and set aside.

  2. Place dry ingredients into a bowl and combine.

  3. Add the beaten eggs and syrup, followed by the homemade buttermilk and mix gently till all combined.

  4. Leave to rest a few minutes.

  5. Decant into a jug and pour circles of the batter onto a lightly greased flat plate.

  6. Flip when bubbled all over and dry looking at the edges.

  7. Keep warm in a clean tea towel, then serve with lots of butter and homemade jam.
