In your slow cooker, add the chicken, half the salsa, green chillies, garlic puree, chopped tomatoes, red pepper and onion. Stir well and cook on high for 3 hours.
Make the cheese sauce by blending the cottage cheese, low fat cream cheese, remainder of salsa, cheddar and skimmed milk.
Add penne to a saucepan and cook until tender, then drain and add to the slow cooker with the cheese sauce. Stir well and bake in the oven for a further 10-20 mins.
