Beat eggs until lemon colored
Mix together corn syrup, sugar and melted butter
Add mixture to eggs
Sift together flour, salt and cream of tartar
Add sifted ingredients to combined ingredients
Carefully fold in ½ of nuts and vanilla
Sprinkle other ½ of nuts over top of pudding
Bake at 375° for 35-40 minutes using conventional method
Serve with whipped cream if desired
