Blistered Tiger Shishito Peppers

  1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

  2. Once the oil is shimmering, add the peppers and blister on both sides, 1 to 2 minutes.

  3. Remove the skillet from the heat.

  4. In a small bowl, add the soy sauce and sugar and mix together.

  5. Pour over the peppers in the skillet, stir to combine, and serve.
