Sauce
Rinse the rice until the water runs clear.
Peel the carrot and cut into thin small pieces.
Slice the shiitake mushroom thinly.
Add the drained rice into the rice cooker pot.
Add the 200ml of water and the pre-made sauce, mix well.
Add the cut carrot, sliced shiitake mushrooms, and rehydrated hijiki, spread evenly.
Add the sliced pork, spread evenly.
Cook as you normally would rice.
Once cooked, mix well.
Garnish with finely chopped green onion if desired.
