Hawaiian Roll Recipe
  1. In a bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, and honey. Stir lightly and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

  2. Add the flour, salt, and oil to the bowl and mix well.

  3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 2-3 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.

  4. Shape into 12 ball shapes and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. Cover the shaped rolls with a clean kitchen towel and let them rise for 30-45 minutes, or until puffy. If they aren't rising you can put them in the oven on warm for 20 minutes.

  6. Gently brush the rolls with the melted butter before placing them in the oven. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Bake the rolls for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.

  7. While the rolls are still warm, brush them with the remaining melted butter.
