Whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla for 4–5 minutes until light, pale, and fluffy.
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt, then gently fold into the batter.
Heat milk and butter until the butter is melted and the mixture is hot (not boiling).
Slowly pour the hot milk mixture into the batter while gently mixing until smooth.
Pour into the pan and smooth the surface.
Bake for 30–35 minutes until lightly golden and set.
Let cool completely, then dust lightly with powdered sugar.
