Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, salt) with a paddle mixer
Cut cold butter into tablespoon-sized pieces and add to dry ingredients
Mix on low speed for about one minute until butter pieces are distributed throughout
Add ¾ cup milk and mix for about 10 seconds until a shaggy dough forms
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll into a rectangle
Fold dough in half, then fold again
Roll out dough until about 1 inch thick
Cut biscuits using a round cookie cutter
Place biscuits on a baking sheet
Stack and reroll remaining dough, then cut additional biscuits
Bake at 425°F for 12 minutes
Remove from oven and brush with melted butter
Drizzle with hot honey before serving
