Easy Pear Jam Recipe
  1. Place the pears, lemon juice, and any optional flavours into a heavy-bottomed pan.

  2. Gently heat until the pears begin to soften.

  3. Add the jam sugar and stir until fully dissolved.

  4. Bring to a boil and cook rapidly for 5–10 minutes, or until the setting point is reached (use a sugar thermometer or do the wrinkle test on a cold plate).

  5. Remove any herbs or flavourings, then pour into sterilised jars and seal.
