  1. Tear Lion's Mane mushrooms into tender-sized strips along the natural fibers without using a knife

  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, baking powder, and nutritional yeast

  3. Add oat milk and stir into a thick batter

  4. Coat the mushroom strips in the batter until fully covered

  5. Heat 1–1.5 inches of oil in a heavy-bottom pot over medium-high heat

  6. Fry the tenders for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy

  7. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil

  8. Season while hot with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder to taste

  9. Serve with whole grains and greens
