No Added Sugar Scones
  1. Preheat oven to 200c, 180C fan, gas 4

  2. Sieve the flour and baking powder into a large bowl

  3. Add the butter and rub it into the flour

  4. Mix in the sultanas

  5. Combine the eggs and buttermilk in a jug

  6. Gradually add the wet to the dry mixture until to comes together

  7. Roll the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of 1 ¼ inch

  8. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 20 minutes until golden
