Gramma’s Quick Carmel Frosting
  1. In medium pot over medium heat, melt butter and sugar.

  2. Boil over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

  3. Add milk; continue stirring until mixture comes to a boil.

  4. Remove from heat, add vanilla and let mixture cool 10 minutes.

  5. Add icing sugar, beating it in slowly until icing is at a spreadable consistency.

  6. Work fast as the icing sets quickly.
