Creamy Miso Pasta with Pork Belly
  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water, then drain and set aside.

  2. Marinate pork belly with soy sauce and white pepper. Sear in a skillet until crispy and golden, about 2 minutes per side.

  3. Add garlic and green onion to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  4. Mix sugar, miso paste, soy sauce, and soy milk. Pour into the skillet and stir until smooth. Add pasta water if needed.

  5. Toss pasta in the skillet until fully coated in the sauce.

  6. Plate the pasta, top with pork belly, and garnish with green onion. Optional: Add a soft-boiled egg.
