Asparagus Prosciutto And Brie Puff Pastry Bundles
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together egg and water until smooth. Set aside.

  2. Line 2 sheet pans with parchment paper. Set aside.

  3. Heat oven to 425°F.

  4. Cut pastry into 9 equal squares.

  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll each square to 1/16 inch thickness.

  6. Top each square with 1 slice prosciutto.

  7. Place 1 slice of brie and 4-6 asparagus spears at an angle on top of prosciutto.

  8. Fold top right corner of pastry over asparagus.

  9. Fold bottom left corner over bundle and tuck under.

  10. Use a small pastry brush to brush egg wash over all exposed pastry.

  11. Place in freezer for 10-15 minutes.

  12. Bake for 20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
