Rinse the rice and the lentil and drain.
In a pot put the olive oil, add the drained rice and lentil and salt.
On medium heat, mix the rice for 30 seconds.
Pour the boiling water and bring it to a boil.
Cover and reduce the heat to low heat. Cook it for 20 minutes.
In the meantime, in a pan add the olive oil, sliced onion, minced garlic and cumin.
Stir and fry on low heat for 4 minutes until it gets a nice golden color.
When the rice is ready, mix it gently and pour the cumin-garlic on top of the rice. Mix it all gently.
