Ancient Wheat Dough With Boiled Eggs
  1. Start by adding 6 cups of sifted wheat flour to a large bowl.

  2. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 3 cups of water.

  3. Now add another 1 and ½ cups of wheat flour gradually.

  4. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

  5. Get one of the halves and roll it up into a log shape.

  6. Round each piece into a ball.

  7. Add 1 cup of melted unsalted butter.

  8. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and let the pieces of dough rest for at least 1 hour.

  9. In a large bowl, add some chopped chives to taste and a drizzle of olive oil.

  10. Then add eight boiled eggs, chopped into dices.

  11. Add ½ teaspoon of salt and a generous pinch of black pepper.

  12. Get one piece of dough, put it on the table and stretch it by hand until very thin.

  13. Bake in a preheated oven at 180° C or 356° F for 40 minutes.
