Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
In another large bowl, combine buttermilk, egg, and garlic. Whisk until smooth.
Slowly mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Add olive oil and fresh herbs until evenly distributed.
Transfer batter to the prepared bread pan. Drizzle 1 tablespoon olive oil over the top and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Bake for 42-45 minutes or until bread is set through the middle and top is golden brown.
Allow bread to cool for 25 minutes before slicing.
