Slow-cooker Collard Greens With Ham Hocks
  1. Add ingredients to slow cooker: Combine all ingredients in a 6-quart oval slow cooker.

  2. Cook collard greens: Cover and cook on LOW 9 hours.

  3. Remove ham hocks: Carefully remove ham hocks and all bits of bone before stirring greens after cooking.

  4. Remove meat from ham hocks: Cool ham hocks, and thoroughly remove all fat and bone.

  5. Add meat back to collard greens: Return meat to slow cooker. Stir into greens, and serve.
