My Favorite Quick Sourdough Pizza Dough
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water and active, bubbly sourdough starter. Whisk or swirl gently until dissolved.

  2. Add the bread flour and salt on top of the starter mixture, then drizzle in the olive oil. Mix until a shaggy dough forms and no dry flour remains. Cover and let rest for about 20 minutes.

  3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Form into a ball, place in a lightly oiled bowl, and cover. Let rise in a warm spot for 60-90 minutes until puffy.

  4. Divide the dough into two pieces and shape each into a ball. Let rest for another 15-20 minutes. Preheat your oven and pizza stone to 500°F (260°C). Stretch one dough ball into a 12-inch circle, top with ingredients, and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
