Wash the orange thoroughly. Cut it into pieces with the peel, remove seeds if any.
Blend the orange pieces with the sugar until blended.
Add the eggs and oil, blend again.
Add the flour and pulse two times, do not over blend the flour !
Pour batter into a greased baking pan of your choice.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350° f (177c) for 45-50 minutes.
Do the toothpick test to check if it’s ready.
Prepare the icing by combining the powdered sugar and orange juice in a bowl and mixed together.
Once the cake has called completely spread the icing over the cake and top with some orange zest.
Enjoy at room temperature.
