In a saucepan add water & sugar.
Bring to a very gentle boil.
Keep heat around medium low.
Once it starts to gently boil let it simmer there for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
After 10 minutes of simmering add vanilla, butter & almond extract.
Stir to combine and let it cool for an hour.
Add it to your desired syrup jars and store in the fridge for up to a month.
