Pat the chuck roast dry, coat in olive oil and season heavily on all sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Get a large skillet or dutch oven going over medium heat. Add in a spoonful of ghee. Once melted, sear the chuck roast for a few minutes on all sides to build a nice crust.
Remove the chuck roast from the pan then add in the sliced onions and minced garlic. Sauté for a few minutes then add in the beer, soy sauce & honey. Mix till well combined then place the chuck roast back in and cover with lid.
Braise in the oven at 325° for 2-2.5 hours then remove and add the potatoes into the pan. Cover and place back in the oven for another 1-1.5 hours.
Remove and let cool for a few minutes then shred up the meat.
For the green beans, steam until fork tender then add in butter and season to taste with salt, pepper & garlic powder.
Plate everything up & ENJOY!
