Cheesy Herb Quick Bread
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan (8x4 inches) or line it with parchment paper.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir in the shredded cheese and fresh herbs until evenly distributed.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, egg, and minced garlic (if using).

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix—the batter will be thick and lumpy.

  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Sprinkle extra shredded cheese on top for a golden, cheesy crust.

  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.

  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 5–10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool slightly. Brush the top with melted butter for extra richness and garnish with fresh herbs or flaky sea salt if desired.

  8. Slice and serve warm with butter, soup, or salad—or enjoy it straight out of the oven!
