  1. Combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.

  2. Add lukewarm water and olive oil, then knead until smooth and elastic.

  3. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  4. Divide the dough into equal portions.

  5. Roll each portion into an elongated oval or rectangular shape.

  6. Spread one type of topping evenly on each dough portion.

  7. Lightly press the toppings into the dough to secure them.

  8. Fold the dough edges and shape each into a square.

  9. Place the squares on a parchment-lined baking sheet, arranging them closely in a grid pattern.

  10. Preheat your oven to 425 °F/ 220 °C.

  11. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and toppings are bubbling.

  12. Monitor during the last few minutes to prevent over-browning.

  13. Let the bread cool slightly.

  14. Garnish with fresh herbs, olive oil, or extra vegan Parmesan.
