Arroz Caldo
  1. Heat neutral oil in a pot

  2. Cook chicken thighs until browned

  3. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and minced ginger, sauté until fragrant

  4. Add chopped scallions

  5. Pour in chicken stock and bring to a boil

  6. Add glutinous rice and white rice

  7. Simmer until rice is cooked and porridge reaches desired consistency

  8. Season with fish sauce, salt, and pepper to taste

  9. Serve hot with boiled egg and lemon or calamansi on the side
